Why does YUNiTi have advertisements now?

As some of you may have noticed, we recently added advertising to the site.  However, as you may have also noticed, we added them sparsely so that they do not crowd your profile, and we've also added them in a way where they blend with your page (by using the same color styles).

The reason for adding advertisements is so that we can get some income from YUNiTi, so that we can fully dedicate ourselves to it (and make awesome features).  As you may know, the site creators (Mateus and Marcos) fund YUNiTi out of their own pockets, and work on the site part-time while keeping a regular 9-5 job.

However, we decided that the only way we can truely support our members and give them amazing features is if we dedicate ourselves fully to it.  To do this, however, we need an income to "pay the bills".

We hope that our advertisements are not an inconvenience to you - we have gone to great lengths to make sure that your pages continue to look great, that the advertisements we post are not annoying, and that they do not distract from your profile theme.
