Aut viam inveniam aut faciam - I will either find a way or make one.
In the gray area between night and day, in the transition between awake and asleep, lies the world of dreams, a world of strange juxtapositions, of fears and loves, of the subconscious desires of the soul. This state, living on the edge between order and chaos, echoes the phase transition between solid and gas, between predictable, fixed structure and fluid, indeterminate freedom. Here, in all complex systems, resides the magical world of life, that state in which nature transcends mere being and erupts into a kaleidoscope of dynamic changes, a dance of delight in the beauty of creation.
"If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself," Pausch said. "The dreams will come to you."
Life is but a brief moment. The years go by quickly and old age arrives suddenly before we have an inkling. People desire so many things and waste their days in vain. Some yearn for gold, others for power, yet others for glory and a higher station. But when death's moment nears and they look back at their lives they've lived, they realize they've been happy only during those moments when they've loved. - vahamaki

This past weekend in Las Vegas I couldn't get over how many awesome advertisements there were. The styles, the fonts, colors, photographs, sayings, "deals"..it was pretty much a walk though an art exhibit for myself. It just made me wonder about my major and this whole advertising gig I want to get into. I hope it works out because I really enjoy the art and psychology of advertisements. I would LOVE love love love LOVE to work in the heart of L.A.! And if I worked out in L.A. I'd move to Long Beach. I used to dream of working 60+ hour weeks to get my advertisement out in some cool magazine like Cosmo or anything big. Of course..that will not be for YEARS but I can dream. I just have a feeling that..its not going to be as cool as what I think it is. But since my mind never..NEVER..stops thinking I thought of a second path for myself. If this whole advertising deal doesn't work out I'd like to flip houses. You know..where you buy a dump of a house, fix it up, and make money buy selling it? Yeah..its crazy and I'll have to have money before I can even get close to this idea..but I think I'd really enjoy it, even all the stress that comes along with it. Or at least staging a house for open houses. That’s where you decorate it so the prospective buyer can imagine how the house would look lived in. But..thats way far off as well. Right now I just need to focus on school and getting myself out there networking wise. But I can't help but daydream about all the possibilities.
